Fedora Core 5

Fedora Core 5 has been released a few days ago. Fedora is a Linux distribution sponsored by the famous Red Hat corporation. I love this release because it comes with the mono platform integrated. That means, it comes with the famous apps developed with mono, such as Beagle, Tomboy and F-Spot. Linux is becoming a really nice operating system and outperforms the Windows operating system in many areas. This new release, as I said, comes with mono apps, such as Beagle. Beagle is a search engine that indexes your home directory, so you can find files very quickly. This is a feature that Microsoft will release in the next operating system under the name of Windows Vista. Let’s see what’s going to happen, but Linux already does what Microsoft only promises. I forgot it. I’m writing from a Fedora Core 5 Linux Operating System!!
