Ban on smoking

Now in the UK there’s an important issue to be discussed. Should smoking be banned in public places? I reckon it’s a difficult question because sometimes you feel like having a ciggy even not being a smoker. Nevertheless, it really should be banned thanks to those who don’t care at all about who’s around them.
In some places like in working environments it should be banned right away. We should take into account that we spend lots of hours in our jobs and a clean environment is absolutely necessary for our health.
It’s really a thorny issue because tobacco is the direct cause of hundreds of deaths every year around the world. The main problem I think is that people abuse on tobacco and in many things like alcohol. To put it bluntly, drinking a glass of wine on a daily basis is healthy but drinking a bottle is deadly. This example would mean that tobacco is a question of choice and everybody should take care of their own responsibilities. Let’s see what’s going to happen, but again when the government cracks down on an issue like this is because people abuse a lot and don’t care at all about the possible consequences.
